A useful cycle note starts with your day
Make your notes easier to discuss.

Make your notes easier to discuss.
Start with what happened
You do not need a perfect diary to explain a concern. Start with a date and what you noticed. Add how it changed your day: leaving work early, waking at night, or needing to rearrange plans. Your experience matters alongside the numbers.
Separate what you noticed from what you suspect
Keep observations separate from guesses. “Pain interrupted my walk” is an observation; “this must mean…” is an interpretation. Write both if helpful, but label them so you can talk them through.
Bring your questions with you
Before an appointment, choose your most important question and two examples. Ask what to watch for, what happens next and when to return if things do not improve. A tracker is a conversation aid, not a diagnosis.
